MySQL QUARTER() Function
Definition and Usage
The QUARTER() function returns the quarter portion of a date value (a number from 1 to 4).
- January-March will return 1
- April-June will return 2
- July-Sep will return 3
- Oct-Dec will return 4
Syntax
QUARTER(date)
